Copper Mines

Copper Mines

The Copper Mines on Killarney’s Ross Island is part of Irelands Wild Atlantic Way,The mines and the island has a long interesting tapestry of local and international history. My visit on this occasion was to bring the everyday visible colour that surrounds the deep water filled mines into life as a finished print, the colours of the trees blend beautifully with the deep aqua of the water which if you look carefully also carries a wonderful rustic tin hue. Hopefully I have achieved what I set out to in the piece presented to you.
