Stradbally Waves at The Gallery 21
Stradbally sits at the foot of Mount Brandon on the Dingle Peninsula, a quant village by any standards with a beach that never ceases to impress and always takes my breath away.
Stradbally Waves was one of our original 24″x16″ edition pieces introduced to the gallery when we first opened. While it proved to be very popular in this format, when we took it to our exhibition in France last Summer it sold immediately and was compared to the famous painting by Walter Crane The Horses of Neptune that iconic image depicting the power of the sea.
Following on from the reaction it had in France, we decided to introduce Stradbally Waves as a larger art piece to the gallery and this week it became the feature piece on our window display.
We are overwhelmed by the reaction this piece received this week alone and are down to only a few editions left ( 15 pieces were available at 52″ x 42″ framed).
It has gone to Dublin, California, Vegas, Dubai and Killarney!
Everyone is stopping at the window to discuss it, some of the passers-by are even commenting on how much it looks like a photograph 😉
One the Wild Atlantic Way we are blessed to witness many scenes as picturesque as Neptune himself witnessed! We have access to some of most beautiful beaches in the world and will continue to capture more magnificent art pieces for you to enjoy and hopefully hang in your homes all over the world.
“Release your majestic mind, embrace your untamed spirit. Break free from captivity, avoid society…
You were born to be free”
Enjoy your week.
